Terms of service

1. The service

LargeFileSend lets you upload files and share a download link. Links expire automatically and the files are then deleted. We do not keep backups, so do not use the service as the only copy of anything important.

2. What you may not upload

You may not use the service to share content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, content that infringes someone else's rights, malware, or content used to harass, threaten or defraud anyone. You may not use the service to send spam.

You are responsible for the files you upload and for who you share the link with. Anyone who has a link can download the files.

3. Removal and reporting

We may remove any transfer at any time, without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law, and we may report illegal content to the authorities. To report a link, use the abuse form or email abuse@largefilesend.com.

4. Payments

Transfers above 5 GB require a one-time payment shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and issues your receipt. Files are shared only after the payment is confirmed. If we are unable to deliver a transfer you paid for, we will refund it. Other refund requests are handled under the payment provider's refund policy. There are no subscriptions.

5. Availability

We work to keep the service running but provide it as is, without any guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that files will be available for the whole retention period.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a transfer is limited to the amount you paid for that transfer.
