About LargeFileSend
A simple way to send files that are too big for email, without creating an account.
What it is
LargeFileSend is a web service for sending large files. You upload files, get a download link, and share it with anyone. It is free for transfers up to 5 GB. Transfers up to 300 GB cost a one-time fee of $4, $8 or $15, depending on size. There is no subscription and no account.
How your files are handled
- Files go straight from your browser to cloud storage in parallel pieces, and each piece retries automatically if your connection drops.
- We do not change, compress or scan the contents of your files for any purpose other than abuse handling.
- Download links are long random addresses that are not listed or indexed by search engines.
- Links expire after 3 days (free) or 7–14 days (paid). The files are then deleted automatically.
Who it is for
Anyone who needs to send a video, a photo set, a design project, a backup or any other large file once in a while: freelancers, small businesses, students, families.
Who runs it
LargeFileSend is built and run by the team behind TenForWorld, an online language-learning platform. Payments for paid transfers are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, so we never see your card details.
Abuse and support
Illegal or harmful content is removed as soon as we review a report. Use the abuse form or write to abuse@largefilesend.com. For anything else, write to support@largefilesend.com.
